SAINT LAURENT’S SNAKE HEELS: THE SHOE EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT
At Paris Fashion Week, Saint Laurent turned the heel into the main event.
For Spring/Summer 2027, Anthony Vaccarello sent Saint Laurent down a gilded runway in Paris, where gold was everywhere — from the clothes to the accessories. But one detail deserves a closer look: the heels.
Among the collection’s most striking shoes were towering stilettos featuring sculptural heels shaped like twisting snakes. Rather than simply supporting the shoe, the heel became the design itself — winding beneath the foot like a piece of jewelry.
WHEN THE HEEL BECOMES THE STATEMENT
The snake detail brings something unexpected to an otherwise familiar Saint Laurent silhouette. It’s dramatic, slightly surreal and unmistakably bold.
The shoes were presented alongside gilded metallic looks, intricate textures and extravagant evening wear, making them feel less like an accessory and more like a continuation of the collection’s theatrical mood.
NOT JUST ANOTHER PAIR OF STILETTOS
What makes these heels stand out is the way they transform a classic fashion essential into an object of design. The shape is the statement. No oversized logo or elaborate embellishment needed — just a heel that looks almost alive.
And that is what made them one of the most memorable footwear details of the show.
A little gold. A little danger. And a heel that refuses to go unnoticed.
At Saint Laurent, even the smallest details know how to make an entrance. 🐍✨
